Prophecy #10: Messiah's own people would reject Him.
"I have become a stranger to my brothers,
an alien to my mother's sons."
an alien to my mother's sons."
~Psalm 69:8
Also~
"He was despised and rejected by men;
a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief;
and as one from whom men hide their faces
he was despised, and we esteemed him not."
a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief;
and as one from whom men hide their faces
he was despised, and we esteemed him not."
~Isaiah 53:3
Fulfilled: John 1:11 and John 7:5
Jesus Christ is the PROMISED MESSIAH!
[Regarding John 7:5, I am pleased to remind you that, after seeing all that was fulfilled in Jesus' life, at least His brother James did believe and become a follower of Christ. God allowed James to be the divinely-inspired writer for the New Testament book of James.]
